Choosing joy has always been an important part of my life.
Before becoming a mom, I didn’t believe that I had a creative bone in my body. I truly didn’t! My husband Adam tried repeatedly to convince me otherwise, but I just didn’t believe it for myself.
It wasn’t until we had our baby girl that I started to see a little bit of creativity peeking out. I started planning her 1st birthday when she was only 7 months old. I would lay awake at night scrolling Pinterest and dreaming of how I could make it extra special. The theme was “vintage floral tea party”.
I hand cut, sewed and hot glued every piece of decor. (She still has almost all these handmade birthday decorations to this day!) The food was all homemade and I taped some balloons and streamers to the ceiling.
I was SO proud of the party I put together. It lit a spark within me and I learned that creating magical birthday parties for her was my most favorite thing EVER. After 7 years that spark has never gone out.
Now 29 years old and a mother of two, I'm a LOT better at putting a party together and I've hosted so many times. I could almost do it in my sleep! This has translated really well into working with other people for their events. I absolutely love being a part of your day and I feel a true connection to your joy. My goal is to make sure your experience is as stress free, and as joyful as possible.
